The St Bernadette’s Community knew there was a need for residential and community care for the Elderly in our Parish so in 1994, Father John initiated the building of the Hostel to provide high standard accommodation for as many elderly residents as possible.
 
The Hostel residents benefit from real links with the local community and in partnership with the Estepa Family and Catholic Homes, who now manage the facilities, we continue to take a special and active part in supporting their material and spiritual well being through the provision of Mass and communion.
 
Together with staff and members of our Parish we create an enjoyable and caring community, enriched by the cultural diversity of the residents.
